Brita Sommer is a German actress and dubbing artist. After her acting training at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, she has performed on countless stages, including the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, the Thalia Theater Hamburg, the Schillertheater and the Renaissance Theater in Berlin. But she also felt comfortable in front of the camera and took over several acting roles for television. She could be seen in "Die Buddenbrooks", "Drei Damen von Grill" and Tatort "Blutwurstwalzer" as well as "Hundstage".  In addition, she has participated in many radio play and feature productions for various radio stations (WDR, SWR, HR, DLR, RBB) and has spoken live news for Deutsche Welle TV for several years. She was also often in the studio for audio book recordings, e.g. for "Die schönsten Märchen aus 1001 Nacht", "Die Flucht aus der DDR", "Coco Chanel - Ein Leben", "Kaffe, eine coffeinhaltige Literaturmischung" or "Schokolade für die Ohren". She also made her voice heard in TV magazines, theme evenings, documentaries and geo-reports. And last but not least, film and series dubbing are also part of her repertoire.
