Luise Lunow is a German voice talent and actress. Born and raised in the former Nowawes, now Potsdam-Babelsberg, she fulfilled her dream of becoming a theater actress on her very own and studied at the State Ballet School in Berlin. In the meantime, she has not only appeared on theater stages, but also in front of cameras for film and television, is at home in dubbing studios and voices radio plays as well as audio books. Luise was a member of the ensemble at the Maxim-Gorki Theater in Berlin for 11 years, and was also Thomas Langhoff's assistant director.  She has delighted audiences in Berlin, in the now unfortunately closed "Tribüne", with the "Vaganten", in the "Renaissance-Theater", in the "Hansa-Theater" and in the "Komödie am Kurfürstendamm".  She has performed with "Die drei ???" on the Waldbühne and is also well known to theater audiences in Hamburg, Munich, Cologne and Essen. In film and television she has appeared in "Drei Damen vom Grill", "Praxis Bülowbogen" and "Ein Heim für Tiere". Filmed with Loriot in "Pappa ante portas", particularly delighted her young listeners with the rap "Enkelschreck", as the witch Mania in "Bibi Blocksberg" and as Grandma in "Benjamin Blümchen". In addition, her voice can be heard in radio plays for WDR, RBB, HR or Deutschlandradio. And if you think that's all - wrong thought. In 2019, she was awarded the German Prize for Dubbing for her lifetime achievement. And last but not least, she has written down her unusual, exciting life in serious and cheerful episodes. The book "Auch eine Rosine hat noch Saft" (Even a Raisin Still Has Juice) tells of 80 years between East and West, bombs and theater, and between joie de vivre and disappointment. Luise's list of works is long and her voice embracing and unique.
