Anna König is a German actress and voice talent. She grew up in the Tuscany of Germany, the Southern Palatinate. She studied acting at the Zurich University of the Arts and has performed at the Schauspielhaus Zurich, Thalia Theater Hamburg and the Staatstheater Karlsruhe, among others. She achieved great attention with Hannah Schweiers feature film "Aufrecht stehen", in which she starred alongside Clemens Schick, and which opened the "Perspektive Deutsches Kino" at the Berlinale 2007. She was also seen in feature films such as "Freunde von früher", "Feuchtgebiete", "Das Floss!", as the Bavarian waiter's daughter Fanny Huber together with Moritz Bleibtreu in Sam Gabarski's "Auf Wiedersehen Deutschland", as well as in "5 Frauen" and "Die Hannas", for which she was awarded "Best Actress" at the "achtung berlin - new berlin film award". But Anna also achieved great fame among television audiences. E.g. with her leading role in the ZDF film "Lügen, die von Herzen kommen", in "Polizeiruf 110 - Heimatliebe" , the Katie Fforde adaptation "Das Kind der Anderen" as well as in the ARD/Degeto film "Ein Ferienhaus auf Teneriffa" and the Netflix film "Dark". The Italian feature film "Assandria" with Anna in the female lead role, in which she speaks italian throughout the film, screened at the Venice Film Festival 2020, among others. One of Anna's other passions is using language to evoke images. In addition to her acting engagements, she has already recorded more than 20 audio books, loves to stand in front of the microphone for commercials and voice-overs, likes to speak authentically as well as putting her trick voice to work. And she also loves rain and hates Sundays. After longer stays in Zurich, Hamburg and London, Anna now lives in Berlin again, this time in Kreuzberg, and appreciates the "good mixture of beauty and wildness
