Asad is a German voice talent with a distinctive and unmistakable voice, as well as a clear and expressive style. Born in East Berlin, Asad discovered his true calling in acting after completing a cooking apprenticeship. His stage career took him from Erfurt to Berlin and then to Rostock, before he joined the Hannover theater scene in 1996. Subsequently, he engaged in renowned theaters such as Thalia Theater Hamburg, Deutsches Theater, English Theatre in Berlin, as well as Ballhaus Naunynstraße and Bühne für Menschenrechte. His notable film roles include appearances in "Systemsprenger," "Ladybitch," and "Holy Meat" (also known as "Hergottscheißerchen"). On television, he has been seen in productions such as "Polizeiruf Magdeburg," "Letzte Spur Berlin," and "Großstadtrevier: Die Jagd nach dem verlorenen Schatz." His impressive voice earned him a nomination for the German Acting Award in 2022 in the category "The Voice." Since 1986, he has also been active as a voice actor in numerous film and television productions. He lent his voice to anime characters such as Yato in "Noragami," Birthday in "Hamatora," and Makoto in "Free." Additionally, he has dubbed personalities like Snoop Doggy Dogg, Kevin Hart, Ja Rule, and Chris Rock. In the "Rogue One" installment of Star Wars, he voiced the blind warrior Chirrut Îmwe, Matt Doran in "The Matrix", Aziz Ansari as "Squint" in "Ice Age: Continental Drift", and Malcolm Barrett in "Monk". Aside from dubbing, Asad is involved in various projects as a speaker, including commercials, corporates, documentaries, audiobooks, and games.
