Bastian is a German voice talent, actor, and dubbing artist. He fondly remembers how it all began: “I was 17, very shy, sitting in a small theater in Cologne. The very attractive, but significantly older blonde woman right next to me was eyeing me up and down the whole time. At some point, I gathered all my courage, turned to her, and looked her in the eye. At that moment, she handed me her business card and invited me to a casting.” Bastian never expected that this would lead to his acting and dubbing career. After several TV appearances, including “SOKO Leipzig,” “Die Wache,” and “Mein Leben & Ich,” he completed his acting and musical training at the Stage School Hamburg. This was followed by his first theater engagement at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus. Since 2012, he has also been working as a voice talent for dubbing, commercials, documentaries, and video games. He lends his voice to characters such as Rami Malek’s Eliot in “Mr. Robot,” Shameik Moore’s Shaolin Fantastic in “The Get Down,” Jesse Plemons’ Ed Blomquist in “Fargo,” and can be heard as Sideswipe in “Transformers – Robots in Disguise.” Bastian finds balance and relaxation by the water with kite surfing and in nature during long horseback rides.
