Ernst Meincke is a German actor, dubbing artist and the German voice of Captain Picard, Patrick Steward. While completing his education at the HFF Potsdam-Babelsberg, he already received his first engagements as an actor and dubbing artist. Subsequently, Ernst Meincke was active as an actor for film and television as well as in the theater. As a voice artist he can also be heard in radio play productions and documentaries. In the dubbing, he lent his voice to Kenneth Walsh in "Aviator", Jude Cicodella in "The Manchurian Candidate", Roger Rees in "The Pink Panther" and David Schofield in e.g. "Pirates of the Caribbean".
