Folke is a German voice talent, actor, and trained bel canto singer. He studied acting and classical singing at the University of the Arts in Berlin and began his career at the Berlin Schiller Theater. His repertoire ranges from Shakespearean characters such as Iago, Mercutio, and Oberon to Sondheim’s vengeful “Sweeney Todd.” He has portrayed “Robin Hood,” “Cyrano de Bergerac,” “Störtebeker,” and Tevye, the father of five, in “Anatevka – Fiddler on the Roof.” He became known nationwide for his TV role as Tobias Arnhoff in the ZDF series “Forsthaus Falkenau” and for his portrayal of Stauffenberg in a BBC production. As a voice talent, he works on commercials, documentaries, features, and audiobooks.
