Giselle is a native English voice talent, a Canadian-born Afro-Caribbean singer, songwriter, poet, and writer now based in Berlin. With English as her first language and conversational German, she has been thriving as a voice artist since early 2020, blending a diverse skill set with a unique artistic vision. Her love for music emerged at an early age, nurturing both her vocal and songwriting talents. Beginning as a background singer for emerging Canadian artists, she soon found herself opening for celebrated acts like Erykah Badu and Robin Thicke. This early experience in collaborative performance paved the way for her solo ventures, leading her to share stages in Toronto alongside talents such as Benjamin Clementine and captivate audiences on CBC Radio. Now in Berlin, Giselle continues to expand her musical horizons. Her performances have graced renowned venues such as Berghain, OHM, Badehaus, and the Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg—where she contributed her mezzo-soprano voice to the play Hyäne Fischer as a choir member. Alongside her live work, her background in film and television production has opened doors into sync and licensing, with her contributions enriching cinematic projects showcased in Canadian cinemas and featured at international film festivals.
