Gitta is a Flemish voice talent. who adored stories from a young age on. In the early nineties she read them aloud and recorded them on cassettes. When she gave oral presentations at school, teachers often complimented her on her voice, claiming she had an unmistakable radio voice. Because Gitta loved language and texts so much, she went on to study Dutch and English language and literature at Leuven University. After she graduated, Gitta worked several years as a teacher before she started as an editor. The publishing house where she worked had its own recording studio. Combined with her editing work, she voiced stories for children there for more than a decade. She also voiced instruction videos and tutorials which were part of educational publications for older children and teens. Because she loved working with her voice so much, she decided to take some workshops at an international voice agency in Amsterdam. Gitta has a versatile voice, which enables her to engage in very different projects: commercials for radio and tv, explainer videos, e-learnings, jingles, podcasts, corporate films, voice messages, children’s stories and dubbing assignments. She wants to give maximum effort to each project, because each project is unique. With her background as a linguist, she is very sensitive to language and text structures, which enables her to help you get the message across in the right way. Gitta's voice is naturally clear and friendly, and described as comfortable and pleasant to listen to. She also enjoys playing characters and going crazy for a change. Bringing stories to life is still Gitta's favorite thing to do, in any possible way.
