Goedele is a native Flemish voice talent whose passion for stories and life resonates in her voice. As a child, her voice couldn't always keep up with her lively temperament, and she occasionally even lost it. This early experience taught her to value her voice as precious and to take care of it accordingly. It became her primary instrument, and to this day, it is what she loves most: bringing words to life and enchanting the listener. Her expression, portrayal, and storytelling skills were cultivated through her study of Dutch-Swedish language and literature at UGent, dedicated years at the student radio Urgent.fm, learning and experimenting at the Toneelacademie Maastricht, serving as a presenter and host at Studio Brussel, and undertaking voice-over work for well-known brands such as MNM, Canvas, Ketnet, etc. – all under the umbrella of the public TV and radio broadcaster VRT. Additionally, she spent 10 exciting years in the news department of VRT. This versatility is also evident in her voice: she can sound powerful, yet gentle, light, and bright, or warm and deep. It is her great concern to find the right tone for every project. For commercials, corporate films, audiobooks, podcasts, audio descriptions, radio and TV spots, jingles, trailers, audio guides, interactive videos, e-learnings, explainer videos, voice messages, documentaries, as well as dubbing. With the nomination for the Storytel Award Audiobooks 2024, Goedele's passion for storytelling and her versatile, emotive voice talent receive special recognition, emphasizing her unique dedication.
