Ilari is a native Dutch voice talent. He grew up bilingual in Holland - with a Finnish mother and a Dutch father. At the age of twelve, Ilari discovered his talent for audio dramas, impressing his friends with exciting stories recorded on a cassette recorder. His diverse experience as a waiter on a cruise ship and six years as a flight attendant in Germany, combined with his passion for languages and dialects, laid the foundation for his career as a professional voice artist. Ilari’s vocal charm was already noticeable as a tour guide on bus trips through Norway and England, as well as during flight announcements. With his natural friendliness and melodious tone, Ilari's voice even alleviates the annoyance of air travelers when he announces in three languages that today's flight has been cancelled. His work as a reader for the blind and visually impaired eventually led him to radio before he embarked on his path as an independent speaker. Ilari is now a familiar voice, a sought-after voice actor, and ranks among the most popular in the Netherlands.
