Ilka is a German voice talent and trained actress. She lives and works in Berlin. Her voice is well-known from radio, television, and audiobooks – for broadcasters such as DLR, DLF, RBB, SWR, WDR, MDR, RB, NDR, and ARTE. She brings her versatility to commercials, dubbing, audiobooks, radio plays, features, readings, audio descriptions, documentaries, and voice overs. A special passion of hers is her character voice: since 2005 she has been the crow in the popular children’s radio show Ohrenbär on radioBerlin 88.8. With her warm and expressive storytelling voice, she instantly captivates both young and adult listeners. In 2018, she received the "BEO Children’s Audiobook Award" in recognition of her work. Born and raised in Weimar, Ilka studied acting at the Konrad Wolf Film and Television Academy in Potsdam. After her training, she appeared on renowned stages such as Hebbel am Ufer and the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin, as well as the State Theater Stuttgart. For several years, she was also a permanent ensemble member at Theater an der Parkaue. Her on-screen work includes roles in Der Sandmann (alongside Götz George), 176 episodes of the youth series Hotel 13, and the crime series SOKO Wismar.
