Isaak is a German voice talent and actor. He first stood behind a microphone at the age of five, when his child’s voice was featured in a commercial about generations. Little did he know that this was the beginning of a story that would stay with him for years to come. But before the stage and the microphone became his world, Isaak took a very different route. He trained as a banker, until one theatre experience changed the course of his life. Ferenc Molnár’s Liliom moved him so deeply that he headed to Hamburg to study acting. Five years at Stadttheater Gießen followed, including roles such as Don Carlos and Torquato Tasso, before he joined the ensemble at Schauspiel Frankfurt in 2009. Since then, he has worked on stage, in front of the camera and behind the microphone, and it is the connection between these three worlds that shapes his work.Isaak has been working professionally as a voice actor since 2004, bringing stories to life in many different forms: commercials and documentaries, corporate and explainer films, audio dramas, games and dubbing. His voice can also regularly be heard as a station voice, including for German public broadcaster ZDF. From his first microphone at the age of five to the stage at Schauspiel Frankfurt, one thread runs through Isaak’s work: telling stories and bringing characters to life. Perhaps that is why stories have never really let him go. What would we be without our stories? (Isaak)
