Julian is a native German actor and voice talent. "He takes great pleasure in acting and can already read very well," Julian's class teacher attested after the first year of school. No one at the small village elementary school in the mid-90s had any idea that this "great joy" would turn into a profession over the years, and that roles in theater and film would follow. After graduating from high school, he completed a traineeship in print media and trained as a video journalist and presenter. After four years in various editorial departments and radio stations, Julian finally decided on acting. At his first engagement at the Burgtheater in Vienna Julian could be seen as "Hatter" in "Alice in Wonderland" (by the way still his favorite role) or as "King Marke" in "Tristan and Isolde". At the same time he took over the first roles in productions of ARD, ZDF, RTL. Meanwhile he can be seen regularly in German film productions, e.g. “Blutige Anfänger”, “Soko Leipzig”, “Morden im Norden” or “Notruf Hafenkante” and has also worked as a theater director. Julian also works as a voice talent for commercials, image films, explainer videos, documentaries, voice-overs or radio plays. He uses his clear friendly or cheeky voice skillfully, depending on the requirements. His secret passion, whispers one, is however the Schlagercomedy, as Michi van Herzen. (Definition “Schlager” =  a special kind of European popular music, the lyrics are mainly about love and romance.)
