Kati is a German actress, voiceover artist and professional translator. She was born in Germany and grew up trilingual, German, Italian and Portuguese. From her birthplace in Stuttgart, she was brought up in polyglotism at an early age. The language rhythms and sounds she picked up through her Mediterranean-influenced parental home and the Swabian kindergarten paved Kati's way into a multilingual profession at an early age.  After her abitur in Portugal, where she spent 9 years of her teenage years, she went back to Stuttgart to study languages. She studied French and English at the Dr. Bénédict Foreign Language Institute, attended the Anglo-German Institute and spent a study month in Dublin. As the cock of the Bremen Town Musicians Kati licked blood and devoted herself to acting since her youth. She performed in several plays in Portugal and Germany, took acting lessons at the Spielhaus cultural project in Stuttgart and shot the ARD TV series Fabrixx. In 2004 Kati moved to Vienna to study translation in Portuguese, German and English. Nevertheless she remained faithful to acting. At the same time she took speaking lessons with Marika Adam from the Prayner Conservatory. Her efforts had paid off: She graduated with a master's degree in technical translation and acted in Austrian film productions such as the feature film "Superwelt" by Karl Markovics. Kati slipped into the voiceover business only by chance through an acquaintance who owned a recording studio and was looking for a Portuguese voiceover artist for an e-learning platform from Siemens. Further jobs for documentaries, advertisements, image videos and multimedia in Portuguese and German followed. Since 2013 she speaks the Portuguese audio guide of the Hop-On-Hop-Off tour bus "Vienna Sightseeing".
