Katja is a native German voice talent and actress. After her studies at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater" in Bern, she was a permanent member of staff at the Schauspielhaus Graz and the Staatstheater Mainz for several years. Since her return to Berlin, she has worked for Arte in the field of voice over, has appeared in radio plays (HR, SRF, SWR), audio book productions, as well as in features (DLF, Deutschlandradio Kultur) and brings children's stories like "1001 Betthupferl" by Karlotta Calexico to life. She is also passionate about voicing commercials, radio spots, animated films and games, and enjoys taking on a variety of roles. If one were to try to sum up Katja in one sentence, it could be this one: Take a portion of heart, a ladle of childhood, a handful of humor, add a gentle pinch of brashness, and stuff the whole thing into a microphone with relish.
