Leanne is a native US English voice talent with a neutral accent. She grew up in Chicago and spent a semester studying in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), where she fell in love with the country and the language. In 2011, she moved to Spain right after completing her bachelor’s degree to pursue a Master’s in Translation and Interpreting – and ended up staying. She has been working as a full-time voice artist since 2017. The spark was ignited two years earlier, when she unexpectedly found herself behind the mic recording online tutorials for a software company. She was instantly hooked, began voice training in Madrid with a professional coach – and never looked back. Today, she lives and works between Frankfurt am Main and Gijón on Spain’s Atlantic coast – and is available for recordings in both locations. In addition to English, she speaks fluent Castilian Spanish with a light, non-specific accent – and some German. Her vocal range is broad: she's frequently booked for corporate and industrial films, commercials, dubbing, web videos and guided meditations. What she loves most is the variety – no two days are ever the same. One day she’s voicing a curious child in a children’s audiobook, the next a screaming villain in a game, followed by a calm, friendly tone for an e-learning project or an emotional, compelling delivery for image films and commercials. Alongside her voiceover work, Leanne also works as a stage manager – formerly on staff at the English Theatre Frankfurt, now freelancing in both Spain and Germany. While theatre allows her structured, organized side to shine, the studio is where her adventurous, creative spirit comes out to play. Always by her side in the booth: her trusty Booth Buddy – a small glass turtle. A gift from one of her beloved theatre friends and a charming reminder of her big dream – to one day voice a turtle in a Pixar movie.
