Lina is a bilingual Arabic - German voice talent and actress with Arabic roots. She grew up in Lebanon, very close to the Mediterranean Sea, not far from the mountains. She completed her acting education in Berlin and is now living in Germany. As an actress she is performing in film, television and theater. In recent years she has been seen mainly in independent films in feminist and queer roles. The web series pilot "The night of the hungry turtles" was awarded with the 1st jury prize of the Webfest Berlin as well as her self-produced web series "Karen&Sally" with the title "Best web series pilot" by the Buff Berlin Underground Festival and by the Lake View International Film Festival. On TV she appeared in an episode role of the ARD series Lindenstraße in her native language. In theater, she experiments with video art, language, spatial installations, movement, and narrative spaces to combine the biographical with the artistic in hybrid narrative forms. Her stage language results from an aesthetic narrative level that aims to create an artificial reality that touches. Lina is also known as a voice-over artist from her readings in Arabic and German at Lit. Cologne and Lit.Ruhr.
