Marcus is a German voice talent and actor. He completed his acting training at the HB Studio in New York. As a dubbing artist, he is the German voice of Simon Baker as Patrick Jane in The Mentalist, Joe Flanigan in Stargate Atlantis, Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean I–III, Karl Urban as Éomer in The Lord of the Rings, as well as Steve Coogan in Around the World in 80 Days and The Alibi, among others. As an actor, he has appeared on stage in productions such as The Tempest at Theater Phönix and Runaway Horse at Kleines Theater Berlin. He has also worked in front of the camera, including in the feature film The Secret Society of Fine Arts and in TV series such as Lindenstraße.
