Marios Gavrilis is a German voice talent and actor with Greek roots. He works internationally and commutes between Berlin and Los Angeles. He has appeared in German TV productions in series such as "Alarm for Cobra 11"(RTL), the Comedy Award winning series "Familie Braun" (ZDF) and in the ARD feature film "Morgen musst du sterben", alongside Uwe Kockisch. In addition, Marios was on stage for several years as a permanent ensemble member at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in Hamburg as well as at Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater Mainz and Theaterhaus Jena in various productions. Among his best-known stage successes is the leading role in "Die Gerechten" by Albert Camus. In 2018, his self-produced award-winning short film "Shots Fired" was released, which deals with police violence in the USA against African-Americans. As a voice actor, he lent his voice to Jaime Lorente as "Denver" in "House of Money," Mahershala Ali as "Detective Wayne Hays" in "True Detective 3," Trevante Rhodes as "Black" in the Academy Award-winning feature film "Moonlight," and Dominic Cooper as "Jesse Custer" in "Preacher," among others. In 2019, Marios was awarded in two categories for his work as voice actor at the prestigious SOVAS Voice Arts Awards in LA (Best Dubbing Foreign Language, Best Body of Work Foreign Language). He has stood behind the mic for the main characters in well-known video games such as in "Assassin's Creed Odyssey", "Gotham Knights", Death Stranding and Mortal Kombat 11 and is u.. also heard in World of Warcraft, Call of Duty, Far Cry, The Amazing Spiderman, Star Wars - The Old Republic, Fifa 2018, Final Fantasy, Middle-earth: Shadow of War. In addition, he lends his special vocal touch to the advertising campaigns of renowned brands.
