Matthias is a German voice talent. Born in East Berlin and coming of age at the fall of the Berlin Wall, he seized the newfound freedom to explore the world—doing so on a grand scale: studying acting at the prestigious Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, directing at GITIS in Moscow, and further theater research at the Michael Chekhov Institute in New York. Each of these steps was supported by DAAD scholarships, reflecting his passion for theater and artistic curiosity. Back in Berlin, Matthias discovered his voice behind the microphone—and has remained true to it ever since. For over 25 years, he has been in demand as a voice in advertising, documentaries, voice-over, audio dramas, audiobooks, readings, and dubbing. His experience as an actor—on stages in Vienna, Salzburg, Hamburg, and New York—continues to shape his authentic and finely nuanced style in front of the mic.
