Raphael is a native Swiss voice talent and actor. Born, raised and schooled in Basel. After dropping out of his training as a helicopter pilot, he headed to Munich to study acting.  He works for film, television and especially theater. After several permanent engagements in Germany, Raphael can now be seen as a freelance actor on many European stages. His most important stages of his theater career include the National Theater Mannheim, the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Burgtheater Vienna.  He is part of the core group around the Swiss director Christoph Marthaler and works a lot and with passion as a voice actor. He has participated in numerous radio plays in Germany and Switzerland, has recorded audio books, loves to voice documentaries and was the brand voice of Mercedes Benz in Germany for four years. And when his time does allow, he occasionally does occasional music, from German-language songs to Cuban songs.
