Ryan is a native German and English (UK) bilingual voice artist and actor, perfectly fluent in both languages. After short-lived dreams of becoming an astronaut, the bilingual offspring of a British mother and German father, moved to London to study acting at the renowned Drama Centre, where Tom Hardy, Michael Fassbender and other acting greats learned their craft before him. His career started in London in 2010 appearing in various Shakespeare roles. At the same time his gaze wandered to Germany and the TV and film market there. He had a lot of fun in a Jan Böhmermann produced TV Sketch Comedy series - alongside Frank Elstner, Hugo Egon Balder, Nora Tschirner and many others. He has worked extensively in film, TV and theatre in both countries. Ryan has been working as a professional voice over artist since 2012 : in advertising for global players, TV dubbing for SKY Germany, documentaries for National Geographic UK or cartoon voices for hyperactive otters (true story), he loves the work in the studio. He admires the precision and accuracy it requires to tell a great story, without facial expressions, gestures - just with his voice; Natural, human, charming. Fed up of Brexit, Ryan moved to Berlin at the beginning of 2018 where he is part of the popular stage sitcom "Gutes Wedding, Schlechtes Wedding" (Good Wedding, Bad Wedding), a comedy hit in Berlin for over 15 years. His funniest moment so far as a voice actor: travelling 2 hours to record a single word alternative and 2 hours travelling back home.
