Michael Chadim is a czech native speaker, musical performer and author. As a child of german-czech parents, he grew up bilingually near Karlsbad in the Czech Republic. He became interested in performing arts as a teenager and started dancing at the age of 17. After the fall of the Berlin Wall he decided to go to Berlin to study "Musical & Show" at the HdK and since 1998 he has been active as a musical performer in countless acting and musical productions in german-speaking areas. Among his most important stations are the Schauspielhaus Wien, Theater des Westens, the Bremer Theater as well as his long lasting engagements at the Bad Hersfelder Festspiele. Michael came to speaking by chance when he learned in 2004 that a Ccech was being sought for an audio guide for an exhibition. 
"I had no idea that my mother tongue could be used for something in Germany". That was the beginning of a successful side career. From then on, Michael's voice can be heard in advertisements, voice-over recordings, image films or radio plays - in short, recordings of all kinds. Besides well-known product and car brands, banks and companies, you can hear his voice in famous buildings like the "Stephansdom" in Vienna, in permanent exhibitions like "Albertina" in Vienna, but also as an accompanying voice for TV contributions for example for the foreign office. His biggest assignment so far was the participation and direction of the international "Tutankhamun" - exhibition in Brno in 2009. From speaking you don't have to go far to dubbing. 
For a small role they were looking for a German voice with a Czech accent. "I can do that," Michael said to himself, and since 2011 he can be heard in many films - mostly in short appearances of villains from the eastern bloc. In the series "Mozart in the jungle" he voices "Pavel" and he has also been entrusted with a leading role - "Antonin Nahodil" in the Austrian film "Code name Holec". 
Coincidences play a big role in Michael's life, so in 2017 it came to a cooperation with a Berlin musical publishing house, where he writes vocal lyrics for newly emerging plays. Already published is the musical version of the successful film and theater play "Kohlhiesels Töchter".
