Peter Becker is a bilingual German-British voice talent and actor. Raised mainly in England, where his family lives, Peter Becker first appeared on stage at the Bad Hersfeld Festival at the age of 15.  At the same time he worked as a youth editor for the Hersfeld newspaper. After finishing school, he moved to Berlin, where he first worked as a production assistant and casting director for commercials and music videos. In 2002 Peter began his studies at the renowned Hochschule für Schauspielkunst "Ernst Busch" Berlin. Already during this time, film and theatre makers became aware of him. His first film roles followed (et al. in "Der Untergang der Pamir", directed by Kaspar Heidelbach) as well as theatre engagements (et al. Deutsches Theater Berlin, Thalia Theater Hamburg). The short film "Es geht uns gut", on which he worked as both lead actor and script co-developer, won the Förderpreis der Filmindustrie Baden-Württemberg in 2006 and received the predicate “valuable" from the Filmbewertungsstelle Wiesbaden (FBW) in 2007.Since then, in addition to his work in front of the camera (including "Stauffenberg", "Bis nichts mehr bleibt", "Unknown Identity"), he has been extensively involved in the conception and development of cinematic narrative material. From 2006 to 2007 he went to Vienna's "Volkstheater" for a first permanent engagement, where he met director Nuran David Calis, with whom he worked again in 2008 at Schauspiel Köln. In 2009 he performed under the direction of Nurkan Erpulat in Berlin, where he has been a regular at the "Ballhaus Naunynstraße" since 2010. In addition to his work as an actor, Peter Becker presents live events such as the "Achtung Berlin! Film Festival", gives readings (e.g. at the Literaturhaus Berlin) and voices for radio (e.g. Deutschlandradio Kultur) and TV (e.g. ARTE). In 2017/18, Peter appeared on the theatre stage in "War Horse", the hit play of the "Royal National Theatre". On 11 September 2018, the ensemble returned to the Royal National Theatre for the first time in 10 years. The occasion was a gala performance to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. Since 2009, he has also worked successfully as a bilingual voice artist for German and English-language commercials, dubbings, radio plays, etc.
